2018 WOMEN OF INSPIRATION

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN - (November 8th, 2018) – On Thursday, November 8, Women In Sports and Events (WISE Twin Cities), the leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports, were joined by other sport leaders of the Twin Cities area for a celebratory luncheon where women who have achieved leadership roles in sports business, serving as role models and mentors for other women and who have had a significant impact in the Twin Cities community, were honored with the Women of Inspiration award.

WISE Twin Cities members were joined by their founding partners, the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Wild, the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx, and the Minnesota United FC. Alongside the founding partners, more than 150 guests and 31 companies representing the state of Minnesota gathered along to celebrate the 1st Annual WISE Twin Cities Women of Inspiration Award recipients, taking place in the Aria venue in Minneapolis, MN.

“WISE is about senior and young women looking to thrive in the sports industry. These women are leaders, mentors, and roles models who continue to support each other and empower each other,” said Tami Hedrick, President of the Board of Directors for WISE Twin Cities and Director of Vikings Women, Strategic Development, and Cheerleading for the Minnesota Vikings.
