A Letter From Tami Hedrick

To My WISE Twin Cities Community:

It is hard to believe all that the year 2020 has held for us. But, I am looking ahead into the year 2021, with great hope and excitement.

It has been one of my greatest honors to serve as Chapter President since our inception in 2017, but I write today to share that I will be passing along the President’s torch for the next term. The timing is perfect.

Building this community, from the ground up, has given me the opportunity to get to know so many of you on a deeper level and I cherish the connections and relationships I have built through my time as WISE Twin Cities President. In my opinion, the best part about the WISE community is the amazing women that make up the membership, and the relationships, support, mentoring and inspiration that is shared. Our members represent the best in the business, and it has been so humbling to learn from you and share in this journey. Thank you so much for the opportunity I have had to serve you and this chapter.

We have been hard at work looking at our board structure and procedures to learn how we can best position ourselves for greater connection and growth in the future. There are so many great ideas in the works and women stepping up to help lead this next chapter. I can’t wait to be a part of that, just in a different way. This isn’t a final “goodbye” as I will be continuing my support of WISE Twin Cities by serving on the newly established Advisory Board (more to come on that, and the rest of our board structure after the new year)! I am proud to be able to continue to offer my perspective on supporting and empowering each other. I hope you will join in my hope and excitement for all that is to come for WISE Twin Cities!

Finally, please join me in offering one more round of applause to each of our 2020 Women of Inspiration honorees: Stacey Hardin, Sara Wegmann, and Monterae Carter. The resilience each of these women have shown, in particular in this most challenging of years, is beyond inspiring and we are so thrilled to have them as ambassadors in our community and members of our Chapter. Thank you for all you do.

My very best to all of you,
Tami
