For some of our original members, you will remember that we first gathered at the Urban Growler in 2018 to kick off our Twin Cities chapter. It was a lovely trip down memory lane as we gathered in the same space 5 years later. Us and our members had a fantastic evening as we connected over conversation, delicious food and a surprising variety of drinks. It was the perfect setting to mix the new with the old as we got to celebrate some of our original members and invited the new. We are so appreciative of how far we have come and are so excited to see what is to come in the next 5 years!
Urban Growler is the first women-owned microbrewery in Minnesota and the site of our first WISE chapter event. Started by Deb Loch and Jill Pavlak in July of 2014, they have successfully executed their mission to bring people together through beer. We are overjoyed at the opportunity to return to the location where it all began for WISE Twin Cities.
