WISE Twin Cities: Understanding and Undoing Bias

On Thursday, May 20th nearly 30 WISE-TC members and guests joined together to learn about and challenge our biases. Our facilitators, Dr. Hedy Walls and UyenThi Tran Myhre from the Y of the North’s United Healthcare Equity Innovation Center taught us about our mental models, how we have been shaped by our biases, what they can look like in our daily life, and how to challenge them.
