May is Mental Health Awareness Month and it’s critical to take action on steps to improve the mental health of those in the sports and events industry. Following a trend that began at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, rates of burnout, anxiety, and depression are at record rates with 1 in 5 adults living with a mental health diagnosis in the United States (Center for Disease Control).
