Gain new or deeper insights into how you operate and represent yourself in the workplace to master your influencing power.
In this session, you will increase your leadership potential with Cathy Winter, Executive Leadership Consultant at Premier Sport Psychology. Utilizing the insights of the DiSC assessment, you will be challenged to lean into self-discovery, self- and social awareness to help understand your unique strengths and tendencies and those of the people you work with. Discover how to increase your ability to communicate, influence others, and manage power dynamics that are often out of your control. Gain insight into how to improve communication, productivity, and conflict management in the sport industry.
Participants will be asked to complete the DiSC assessment prior to the training taking place on October 4th. Your results from the online assessment will offer insight to your current strengths and leadership style and will be utilized to stimulate conversation during the training. This will be a collaborative experience with discussion, self-reflection and relationship building.
This event is open for all. Recommended for those aspiring or currently holding a leadership role.
Hosted breakfast and coffee will be available to guests. The program will begin at 8:30 am so please be sure to arrive early.

About Our Instructor
Cathy Winter - Premier Sport Psychology President & Executive Leadership Consultant
Cathy Winter is an experienced leadership expert that is passionate about helping individuals understand and fine tune their unique style in order to bring out the best performance in themselves and their teams.
Cathy has coached and developed leaders at all levels, from C- suite executives to front line leaders in Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and sport organizations. Having been both a business leader and leadership consultant, she combines practical business experience with expertise in coaching, facilitation, and assessment to drive individual and team success.
Cathy’s client work at Premier involves both leadership consultation and coaching in business and sport, including leadership programming in the Big 10 and franchises in the MLB and NBA. She brings to her clients the insights and learning from over 25 years of experience spanning a large number of industries and has become widely recognized for her expertise in helping leaders activate their unique talents.
As President of Premier Sport Psychology, she oversees all day-to-day operations, from clinical training and human resource development, to marketing, R&D, and general business operations. Cathy received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas.
Parking Directions and Entry
Depot Parking is located at 136 South 5th Ave and is available for $16. One parked in the surface lot or on the ramp, make your way to the set of doors closest to the main ramp. Once you are inside, take a right and make your way down the hallway to the Zephyr Room. There will be WISE signage to help guide the way.
The Gateway Parking Ramp is located across Washington Ave at 400 South 3rd St and is available for $25. Street parking is available around the venue, costs will be posted on corresponding meters. If you enter the venue via the hotel lobby, go to the back of the space and take a right to walk past the glass windows and doors. You will then turn left and walk down a long hallway to the Zephyr Room. There will be WISE signage to help guide the way.
