Join WISE Twin Cities and the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx on Thursday, June 5th at the B Suite in Downtown Minneapolis. Local women-owned and operated businesses will share their experience and knowledge to equip guests with the tools and resources to achieve financial success in their businesses and careers. Through expert-led discussion and networking opportunities, members will gain valuable insights into financial planning, funding opportunities, and wealth-building strategies.
The WISE Financial Fitness event is a national WISE Signature Program. The mission to focus on the business acumen needed to succeed in today's competitive workplace by serving as a blueprint to provide WISE members with resources and tools for better fiscal management and understanding of overall business operations. WISE Twin Cities continues to host this program annually, with past panels including Bell Bank, PNC Bank, and V3 Sports.

After stepping away from business ownership, Bobbi Jo now dedicates her efforts to aiding a group of incredible founders through her work with TEN x TEN, a Minneapolis-based landscape architecture firm, where she optimizes operations and enhances overall experience. A proud mother of two to Graham and Izzie, and supportive partner to Rebekkah Lamar Brunson, she enjoys connecting with people and embraces opportunities for continuous learning.

Danielle Steer
Managing Partner - Tundra Ventures
Danielle Steer is a venture capitalist, ecosystem builder, and startup strategist with a proven track record of accelerating early-stage companies. As Managing Partner at Tundra Ventures, she invests in high-potential founders, helping them scale, secure capital, and navigate the complexities of growth.
Previously, Danielle was the founding Executive Director of Lunar Startups, Minnesota’s first inclusive accelerator. Under her leadership, Lunar developed a proprietary accelerator model that positioned startups for capital readiness, ultimately leading to its acquisition. Her work has helped founders create hundreds of jobs and secure millions in funding, making a lasting impact on the startup ecosystem.
Danielle holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College.

Khadia Michel
Certified Financial Planner - Ameriprise Advisors
Khadia Michel is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and NFLPA Institutional Financial Advisor specializing in Financial Planning to help clients craft the future they've dreamed of. She was born and raised in the Twin Cities and spent most of her adult life traveling; making places like Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Haiti her home for about 10 years. Working with global companies like the United Nations Office for Project Services in business development, she eventually returned to Minnesota to start her financial career over 5 years ago. When she's not busy with work, you can find her at church, volunteering, chasing her children around, or traveling the world with her family.

With a background shaped by resilience and a commitment to empowering others, she works to ensure that DEI initiatives are not just a priority but a strategic business advantage.
Parking, Directions, Entry:
There are multiple options for parking near the event space, street parking is limited:
The Metro Ramp Garage is accessible across the street from the event space at 90 S 9th St, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Parking costs $5 for vehicles parked after 4:00 PM.
The Marq 9 Lot is located next to the event space at 900 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Parking costs $11-$17 depending on the total number of hours parked.
Pedestrians will navigate to 81 S 9th St. Enter the Young Quinlan Building and follow signage and directions to the B Suite and enter the space. The check-in table will be located near the entrance of the space.
