Leadership Cohort Series: Leading with Purpose through Change and Uncertainty

Change is constant—and navigating through it effectively is a vital skill for today’s leaders.
This energizing two-part cohort, designed for mid-career women leaders, will explore how to lead through uncertainty, influence across teams, and guide others through evolving environments. Our time together will equip you with practical change management approaches, intentional ways to manage ambiguity, and the ability to influence and communicate with purpose.
Presented by WISE TC in partnership with Premier Performance Advising, this series offers a collaborative space to learn, reflect, and grow alongside peers who are also leading through complexity.

Leadership cohort qualifications:

Be an active member of WISE TC (preferred)

Be a woman working in the sports and events industries with 10+ years of work experience.

Ability to attend both Fall 2025 Workshops.

PROGRAM EVENTS & ELEMENTS
- Leadership Cohort Kickoff Event - Join you fellow cohort attendees at Urban Growler on July 31st, 2025. This will kickoff the Leadership Cohort activities in a fun and casual setting.
- Performance Advising 1:1 - Self-scheduled one-on-one coaching with Premier Performance Advising consultant.
- 2 In-Person Workshops - Workshop content and planning is catered to the cohort participants, once selected. The 2025 Cohort Workshop Dates:

- Changemakers Social Event - Join Cohort members, the WISE TC Advisory Board, and the WISE TC Board of Directors for a closed social event in February 2026.
- Opportunity to attend 'Leadership Today' Panel Discussion - Facilitated discussion about the landscape for sports business leaders in recent years. Challenges, changes, and progress. Discussion topics & themes will be inspired from the Leadership Cohort.
ABOUT PREMIER PERFORMANCE ADVISING

ABOUT CATHY WINTER
Cathy is an experienced leadership expert that is passionate about helping individuals understand and fine tune their unique style to bring out the best performance in themselves and their teams. She brings to her clients the insights and learning from over 25 years of consulting and business management experience in sales, operations, and human resources for a number of corporate and sport organizations. She has become widely recognized for her expertise in assessing and optimizing talent as well as working with teams to function at optimal levels of trust, alignment and performance.
Cathy frequently presents on pressing leadership topics and is known for the lively energy of her presentations and her engaging, thought-provoking approach across diverse audiences. With an emphasis on the unique context and challenges each organization and its leaders face, she helps them recognize and act on opportunities to improve their influence, inspire their teams, and impact performance. Her client work at Premier involves executive coaching and program design/delivery for business and sport organizations, including the facilitation of leadership programming for programs in the Big 10, and franchises in the MLB and NBA. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for Women in Sports & Events, Twin Cities, the nation’s leading non-profit resource for the advancement of women in the business of sport.
